      Pruet Kowitwarangkul received his Ph.D. degree from Department of Ferrous Metallurgy (IEHK), RWTH Aachen University, Germany in 2014, M.Sc. degree in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from The Sirindhorn International Thai-German Graduate School of Engineering (TGGS), KMUTNB and B.Eng. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University.

       His current research works are related to the computational fluid dynamics and simulation in metallurgical processes such as steelmaking, casting, reheating furnace and metal additive manufacturing.
